Edna L. Sarten 1923 ~ 2016 Saucier Edna L. Sarten was born January 26, 1923 to James and Molly Helms. She died Friday, September 16, 2016 in Saucier. She is survived by her sister, Corrine in Susanville, CA; seven children, fifteen grandchildren; and numerous great and great great-grandchildren. Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Seglund, Lee - Diamondhead  
Lenora (Lee) Morris Seglund Mar 12, 1935-Sep 12, 2016 Diamondhead, MS Lenora (Lee) Morris Seglund died Mon Sep 12th 2016, at Hancock Medical Center. She is survived by her Second Cousin, Feona Lamb Miller. Lee was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. She attended Northwestern University in Chicago, IL and accepted a job in New Orleans. She resided there until moving to Diamondhead in 1974. Lee became an active member of many civic and social organizations. She served as Queen of The Boaters Association, Krewe of Diamondhead, and Krewe of Olympus and was named Citizen of the Year in 2002 by the Diamondhead Community Association. In recent years she was an active member of several bridge groups. In accordance with pre-arrangements by Lee, her body was donated to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Sep 28th from 4-6 pm at the Diamondhead Country Club. Memorial donations may be made to the Diamondhead Community Church Endowment Fund.

Snowden, Lottie  
Lottie Walker Snowden 1927 ~ 2016 Gulfport, MS Lottie Walker Snowden, age 89, passed away Friday, September 16, 2016, in Gulfport. She was born February 22, 1927, in Benton County, MS, the youngest of nine children. She graduated from Ashland High School and moved to Hattiesburg to work at Camp Shelby where she met and married Hue Snowden, Sr. They settled in Gulfport, MS in 1951, where they raised their family. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Lyman and volunteered at Memorial Hospital of Gulfport for many years. She was affectionately known as "Mae Mae" to many family, friends, and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Lottie Walker; sisters: Mavis Arnold, Mary Walker, Cornell Hudspeth; and six brothers: Hollis, Hurdle, Sartin, Bill, and Johnny Walker. She is survived by her children: Hue Snowden, Jr., Dianna Tootle, William P. Snowden, Lori Evans (Donald), Susan Collins (Fred), Marci Rogers (Randy); sister, Addie Morgan; grandchildren: Scott Snowden, Angie Flaherty (David), Danah Smith (Jason), Hue Snowden, III (Kim), Jordan Snowden, Jeremy Tootle (Sara), Meredith White (Rusty), Cristina Slade (Jeremy), Anna Clark (Brent), Ashleigh Enroth (Steven), Donnie Evans, Clint Collins (Amy), Emilie Collins, Christopher Rogers and Molly Rogers; 16 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Boyd Benefield and his staff, Dr. Leatherwood and the nursing staff at Garden Park Hospital, also the nursing staff and sitters of Home Instead who took such good care of her. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142. A visitation will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES, Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 5:30-6:30 pm, Friday, September 23, 2016, with a memorial service to following the chapel. Summers, Robert  
Robert Louis Summers, Sr. 1927-2016 Bay Saint Louis Robert L. Summers, Sr., 88, was called to his heavenly home September 17, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruth Mae Shiyou Summers; his children, Sandra (Ronnie) Ladner, Debra Bermond, Robert (Bobby) Summers Jr, Dian (Richard) Kennedy, Beverly Ann (Johnny) Davis, Douglas (Carla) Summers, Tracey (Glen) Meranto; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and his brother, Curtis Summers. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Izetta Summers; sister Dorothy Page; brothers George Summers, Lewis Summers, Maurice (Bo-Pete) Summers, Elmer Summers; and his beloved daughter, Susan Summers. Mr. Summers served during the Korean War. He was an active member of the Order of Eastern Star, Hope Chapter #402 and a member of Masonic Lodge #429. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 12 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd. Pass Christian. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 PM before the service. Pallbearers are Steve Ladner, Jake Kennedy, Josh Kennedy, Gavin Meranto, Kyle Meranto, Cody Summers, Connor Summers and Tody Shiyou. Rev. Stan Proctor will be officiating.
