Davis, Agnes - Ocean Springs
Agnes Henrietta Davis May 16, 1924 - Aug 22, 2015 Ocean Springs MS Agnes Davis was a German war bride who came to America in 1950 after her marriage to Air Force M/Tsgt.Donald L. Davis. They moved to the MS gulf coast in the early 1970's and managed several mom and pop convenience stores. They loved riding their motorcycles along the coast. In her later years she tended to Alzheimer patients in their homes. She lost her own husband to Alzheimer's just a year ago. Agi, as her friends called her, was beloved by all fortunate enough to know her. She was devoted to her family and four-legged friends (her dogs lived better than people). She never forgot her years of hardship during the war ( living under bridges and in bombed out houses ) and was grateful and proud to become an American citizen. She enjoyed the casino scene and was a gifted chess player. She was fun, caring, loving, and mischievous. She was einzigartig und einmalig. And there was never an animal charity she didn't enrich. She will be missed beyond words. She was a loving mother and, to her nephew, his very own Mary Poppins. God bless you, Agi, and thank you fur alles.
