Mcgarry, Paul - Ocean Sprngs
Dr. Paul Anthony McGarry 1928-2015 Ocean Springs Dr. Paul Anthony McGarry was born in Warren, PA., in 1928. He was one of 11 children born to a homemaker and barber. He spent the first twenty six years of his life in one of the coldest parts of the country and often told stories many have heard of walking miles through snow with holes in his shoes but, this time, the stories were true. Growing up desperately poor was a driving force of his determination to provide others with exceptional medical care his own family could never afford. His training, certifications, and unending passion to assist in times of need brought him to Mississippi where he began a long and devoted career as a Coast pathologist. His passing is deeply mourned by his three loving children, Pat, Katie, and Kevin, and four grandchildren, Jacqueline, Franciscka, Stanley Paul, and Kaitlinn. The McGarry family will receive friends for a Celebration of Doc's Life from 6-8 p.m., Monday, January 19, 2015 at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home, 110 South Necaise Avenue, Bay St. Louis, Mississippi 39520. Edmond Fahey Funeral Home, Jacob Schoen Funeral Home, Riemann Family Funeral Home, and Southern Mississippi Funeral Services is honored to serve the McGarry family.
