Mr. Shook was an avid outdoorsman and golfer, but he eventually focused solely on his other favorite pastime, the game of Bridge. I am a former classmate of Kurt's. We have tried over the years to get in touch with him and he did come to a few of our reunions. We are so sorry to hear that he has passed and would be interested in any information you would be willing to share about him. I sure would have loved to talk with him about my bridge game. I am hoping this message isn't too late to reach his widow. I knew Dixie, also. Where does his son live in Wisconsin?

My heart goes out to Curtis's family and friends, and of course, to Barbara Shook, his wife and my dear friend. I only got to meet Kurt once but it only took the one time to know he was a good man with a huge heart who brought a lot of joy to people.

To all of Kurt's family-our thought's and prayers are with you. Kurt was a fine man with a great sense of humor. I always enjoyed spending time and visiting with him. I found him to be extremely smart and witty. You could always learn something from him if you had an ear to listen. Most of all, he was a great Grandpa to my son Cody. We will miss you, Kurt!
