Alice Ross Barrilleaux, 98, of Ocean Springs, MS died on Thursday, July 5, 2012. Alice was born November 19, 1913 in Biloxi and was a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs. Alice was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Elton All Saints Barrilleaux; parents, Capt. Amos and Sophie Duggan Ross; son, Elton Amos "Pete" Barrilleaux; brothers, Willis D. and Elwood A. Ross; sister, Evelyn Ross Allen and great-great-grandson, Tyler Tran.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Lois Hedges of Ocean Springs; brothers, Wildon E. Ross, Sr., and Ernest E. "Sonny" Ross both of Biloxi, John L. "Lindy" Ross, Sr. of Ocean Springs and George E. Ross of San Diego, CA; eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, Ocean Springs. Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Park.
