John Raymond Bourg, Jr., 81, of Ocean Springs, MS died Thursday, April 17, 2014 in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Bourg was born in New Orleans, LA and moved to Gautier, MS in 1949. He was a longtime resident of Gulf Hills. Mr. Bourg served in the U.S. Army as an Artillery Officer. He was employed with Ingalls, in both Nuclear Physics and Engineering, for over 42 years.
Mr. Bourg is preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Bourg and John R. Bourg, Sr.
Mr. Bourg's survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Jackson Bourg; his son, John Raymond Bourg, III; his daughter, Lisa Bourg Conner; his grandsons, Nicholas and Brian Conner; his granddaughters, Jennifer and Brooke Conner; and three great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Gemma and Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to one's favorite charity.
Funeral Services will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Friends may visit from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
