William "Bill" Gerald Schultz
William "Bill" Gerald Schultz of Gulfport, MS passed peacefully in the loving presence of his children and their spouses on June 25, 2013, after a short battle with cancer. Born on December 10, 1931 in Kaukauna, WI to the late Edward Wetzel and Cecelia Schultz of Kaukauna, WI, he is survived by his wife Betty Schultz and his children, Diana Simmons (daughter) & Kenneth Baudoin, Edward (son) & Sarah Schultz, Shirley Schultz (daughter), Elizabeth (daughter) & Jackie Gilliam, Mary (daughter) & Marc Hebert and Warren (son) & Laure Schultz, his sister, Carol, and brother-in-law, John Verkuilen. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his step children, David and Doug Hanson, and beloved dog, Maxey.
A native of Wisconsin, Bill moved to the Gulf Coast after joining the Air Force and made it his permanent fishing-hole at the age of 17. He loved fishing, innovation and was a jokester, prankster, pool shark and an all-around MacGyver!
He was currently working in Maintenance as a Master Electrician for Jacobs Engineering at SABIC in Pearlington, MS, loved going to work each day and considered his co-workers his 2nd family.
The Schultz family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, & staff at Garden Park Hospital in Gulfport, Odyssey/Gentiva Hospice in Biloxi and Rene McClinton, our loving caregiver.
