R. Wood Obituary
Mr. Wood was a lawyer with Dukes, Dukes and Wood Law Firm. He was a graduate of University of Mississippi and UM School of Law. He was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, past member of Gulfport Rotary Club, Past City Judge in Gulfport, Past President of Gulf Coast Ole Miss Alumni Association.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Wood of Hattiesburg; son, William Harris Wood of Hattiesburg; brother, Dr. William Chadwick Wood of Greenville, NC; sister-in-law, Dr. Judy Wood of Greenville, NC; and a niece, Dr. Carrie Waller of Greenville, NC.
Visitation will be Monday, prior to the service, beginning at 1 p.m. at the church.
Memorial donations may be made to the USM Athletic Foundation/Men's Golf Building Fund, 118 College Dr. #5017, Hattiesburg, MS 39406-0001.
