Byron Montgomery Obituary

Byron Martin Montgomery. Born August 23, 1954 in Middlesex, England.

Byron passed away on July 13, at his home in Colleyville, Texas, after a courageously fought battle with cancer. He graduated from Pass Christian High School in 1972, served in the United States Marine Corp, and received a B.S. degree from LeTourneau College in Longview, Texas.

Byron was a self employed real estate broker who made his home in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area for the last thirty years. He was an active member of Fellowship Church in Colleyville, TX.

Byron is survived by his loving wife Lisa S. Montgomery; his parents William and Anne Montgomery of Long Beach, MS; his daughters Micah Modugno (Ralph) of Beverly Hills, CA; Rene Langston (Darryl); Madison and Berkley Montgomery of Colleyville, TX; his son Carson Montgomery of Dallas, TX; his siblings: George Brown (Laura) of NY, NY; Milli Kimmell (Mike) of Olympia, WA; Megan Brown of Old Saybrook, CT; Donna Thom (Larry) of Abita Springs, LA; Rebecca Montgomery (Tom Larson) of Long Beach, MS; Lois Stubbs (Mark) of Weselberg, Germany; William Montgomery (Sharon) of Westminster, MD; his grandchildren: Bella Langston, Lee and Nina Modugno, and numerous nephews and nieces.

A service was held (and a guestbook is available online) at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral home in Colleyville, Tex., on July 16. Interment was July 19, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
