Markell Jerell Hill
June 6, 1997 - February 15, 2014
Markell Jerell Hill was born to Orlandria Yvette Hill and Ernest Bernard Johnson in Jackson County in MS and reared by his Aunt Leola Stallings and Uncle Elder Willard Stallings. He received Christ at an early age and joined Triumph The Church and Kingdom of God In Christ, under the leadership of Prince Jordan Bush. Markell served as a drummer in the Music Department. He attended Biloxi High and Meridian High Schools. On Saturday February 15, 2014, Markell wrote the final chapter of his life, softly closed the book cover and ascended home to Jesus.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his loving parents, Orlandria Yvette Hill and Ernest Bernard Johnson; 3 sisters: Franquila Hill, LaTonya Hill, Destiney Hill; 4 brothers: James Coles, Dayshanh Hill, Landon Hill and Montre Hill; stepsisters: Felicia Stallings, Alicia Wright and Shayla Watson; grandmothers: Theola Hill and Mattie Johnson; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Services will be 10AM Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Flowing Rivers of Life Ministries, 304 Iroquois Avenue in Biloxi. Visitation will be at the church two hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Crest Lawn Cemetery in Ocean Springs.
