Mother Brown Obituary

Mother Cora Goodloe Brown. On April 7, 1925 in Ellisville, MS, Mother Cora Goodloe Brown was born to the late Magnolia Goodloe and Cleveland Thomas. She departed this life on September 18, 2010 at Canon Hospice. She was united in holy wedlock to the late Henry Brown Jr. and to this union seven children were born.

She leaves to cherish her memories, six devoted sons, Mr. William J. Brown of Canton, MS, Mr. Timothy (Helen) Brown of New Orleans, LA, Mr. Henry L. Brown, Mr. Willie E. Brown, Mr. Curtis Brown and Mr. Dewayne (Barbara) Brown all of Gulfport; one devoted daughter, Mrs. Velma (William) Howard of Madison, AL; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and one devoted god-daughter, Ms. Erica Miller.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. at the Good Deeds Community Center on 15101 Madison Street, Gulfport with funeral service to follow at noon. Burial will be in Monroe Memorial Park, Canal Road, Gulfport. Services entrusted to Hartwell's Christian Mortuary, Gulfport.
