"R.W." Richard Wayne Ladner, II, age 34, of Saucier, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012.

Mr. Ladner was born in Gulfport and was a lifelong resident of Saucier. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved playing spades. He loved spending time with family and many friends, especially his daughter. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality and having a great time.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Francis "Frank" Ladner, Sr.; maternal grandparents, James Roy and Lilly Beth Page.

He is survived by his daughter, Brittany Michelle Ladner; parents, Richard Wayne and Patricia Anne Page Ladner; grandmother, Jewel A. Johnson Ladner; brothers, Wayne East and Glenn Ladner; sisters, Charlotte Ladner and Tammy Ladner, all of Saucier; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family; and his beloved canine companion, Precious.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012, at Saucier Missionary Baptist Church, from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be in the church sanctuary at 2:00 p.m.

Burial will follow at Saucier Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wilson Research Foundation at Methodist Rehabilitation (please specify Spinal Cord Research,) 1350 E. Woodrow Wilson, Jackson, MS 39216.
