Waveland, MS

Victor J. Cimino, 88, of Waveland, MS, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at his home.

"Vic" was a native of New Orleans and a long-time resident of Waveland, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, was retired from the New Orleans Police Department, and was known by many for enjoying fishing and exotic birds.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beryl B. Cimino, his two sons, Victor J. Cimino, Jr., and Gerard M. Cimino; his parents, Natale and Rosella Cimino; and his brother Edward Cimino.

He is survived by his daughter, Jeanne Cimino, his nieces, Erin Brunner, Elizabeth Winter, and Dana Conner, his nephew, Gregory Cimino, his great nieces, Kelsey Brunner, Rebecca and Katherine Yahiel, and Zoe Winter.

A service will be Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Edmond Fahey Funeral Home, 110 Necaise Avenue, Bay St. Louis, MS.
