Everett Compston Obituary

Mr. Everett Compston, Sr., age 79, of Wiggins, MS died May 29, 2010 at Wesley Medical Center. He was a Retired Vice President for Administration and Finance at MGCCC and was also a member at Paramount Baptist Church. He was a Mason and a member of the Wiggins Lodge.

He is survived by three sons, Everett (Steve) Compston, Jr. (Cindy) of Wiggins, Stuart Lee Compston (Deloris) of Perkinston, and Samuel Compston (Vicki) of Wiggins. Six grandchildren, Toni Marie Cobb (Jon), Terry Wayne Compston, Adriane Compston, Justin Compston, Nick Jennings, Emily Compston, and one great-grandson, Jon Everett Compston, and one sister Judy Bailey (Lynn) of Wann, OK. He is preceded in death by his, wife Mary Compston, one infant son, his parents Everett Ruben and Goldie May Compston, and one brother Richard Compston. Services will be held Tuesday June 1, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Paramount Baptist Church. Visitation will be Monday May 31, 2010 at Moore Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. Burial will be in church cemetery. Moore Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

I was extremely saddened to hear of the death of a dear friend of mine from MGCCC. I remember fondly our morning cups of coffee before our day began. He was truly an asset to MGCCC. Pam Ladner
