Norma Burbridge Taylor
January 17, 1927 - February 7, 2014
Norma Burbridge Taylor was born in Biloxi to the late Mary Robinson Burbridge and the late Lloyd Burbridge. She attended school in Biloxi and later graduated from New York City College and worked for the VA. Norma Burbridge passed away Fri. 2/7/14 in NY at the age of 87.
She was preceded in death by parents; her siblings: Edith Perryman, Philomena Martin, Inez Whigham, Olee Moore, Marie Hillard, Lloyd Burbridge, Henry Burbridge, and Lionel Burbridge.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years: Priestly Taylor; son: Roger Taylor; daughter: Terri Simmons; granddaughter: Sabrina Simmons; brother: Raymond (Gensis) Burbridge; sister-in- laws: Mary (Henry), Eula (Lloyd), Susie Cameron; niece: Annie Walker; dear friends: Julia Dobbs and Darrel Dent; and other relatives and friends in NY, Biloxi and various parts of the country.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable donations to be made to St. Paul UMC, Building Memorial Fund, 696 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Biloxi, MS 39530 in memory of Norma Taylor.
Services will be 12:30PM Fri., 2/21/14 at St. Paul UMC in Biloxi. Visitation will be at the church 2 hours prior to service time. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
