Margaret Elizabeth "Betty" Holden

Bay St. Louis, MS

Margaret Elizabeth "Betty" Holden, 73, of Bay St. Louis, MS, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in Gulfport, MS. She was a lifelong resident of Bay St. Louis, MS and was a member of the Old Spanish Trail Baptist Church. She was a RN at Memorial Hospital for over 18 years of which 14 of those years were in Recovery. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grand mother and aunt who will be sadly missed by family and friends.

She is preceded in daeth by her parents, Henry Roy & Ruth Kenmar Shubert and her son, Rene Scott Tanguis.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Norman Holden of Bay St. Louis, MS, son, Martin Tanguis of Dallas, TX, 2 sisters, Alice Spiers and husband, Tommie, Helen Moran, 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.

The visitation is on Friday, May 16, 2014, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. at Old Spanish Trail Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis, MS. The Prayer Service will be on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Church. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
