Donald M. "Donnie" Nichols, Sr.

Donald M. "Donnie" Nichols, Sr., 63, passed away at his residence on Thursday, May 22, 2014.

He has been a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1994. Donnie was a United States Air Force Veteran and served during the Vietnam Conflict. He previously worked in sales and the hospitality industry. Donnie was an avid fisherman, enjoyed the outdoors and loved his MS State Bulldogs. He was a Patriot to his country and was better known by his friends as "Naidu".

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tuffy and Lavelle Nichols; and two brothers, Ricky and Danny Nichols.

Donnie is survived by his son, Donald M. "Nick" Nichols, Jr. (Mandi Bostick); brother, Milton Nichols; and uncles, Hollis, Grady and Arlis Nichols.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Veterans Organization of your choice.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
