James Gary Rutland, 58, of Gulfport died Friday, November 23, 2012 in Gulfport.
He was born in Gulfport and had been a resident for most of his life. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Ehron Rachuba.
He is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Frances Rutland of Bassfield; two sisters, Deborah Rutland of Gulfport and Brenda (Keith) Rachuba of Long Beach; and his pet companions, Max, Tanner, and Mollie.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church in Bassfield where friends may visit beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Double Church Cemetery in Bassfield.
