Banigan, Echo Keller  
Echo Keller Banigan, 95, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away on August 22, 2015. Echo was born in Eddyville, Iowa on May 22, 1920 the daughter of Alfred and Goldie Keller. While pursuing a career in clothing design in New York City she met and was married to Thomas A. Banigan on September 19, 1942. After WWII she settled in Washington, D.C. where she and Thomas raised their beloved family, and made many friends. During her 49 year marriage she supported Thomas in his commitment to the realization of the progressive causes he pursued through the Democratic Party in their community. She is survived by her son Stephen Banigan; daughters, Janet Gardella, Linda Banigan, and Patricia Valore and her husband Michael; grandsons, Stephen Gardella and David Gardella; granddaughters, Tara Bevard and Joey Banigan. In retirement Echo delighted in the many hours spent with her grandchildren, traveling with her son and friends, and embracing her artistic talent. She will be remembered for her intelligence, stylish reserve, great sensitivity, marvelous wit, and joy of life. The family will attend a graveside service at George Washington Cemetery in Adelphi, Maryland on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 10:00am. Barbanos, Jeanine  
Jeanine Barbanos, a long-time resident of the Fort Lauderdale area, passed away on Saturday, August 15th She was a warm, brilliant person and a wonderful wife and mother who loved her family very much. She is survived by her daughter, Klementini Barbanou, her sister, Claudette Mears, and a number of nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Beck, Charlotte Levine  
Charlotte Beck, Age 94 of Sunrise, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday August 24th. Raised in Brooklyn and a 30 year resident of Lynbrook, New York, where she and her husband Eugene led a very active community life, they moved to Lauderdale Lakes in 1980 where they continued their activities in both charities and politics. Charlotte was an avid supporter of Gene in his many years as a Lauderdale Lakes City Councilman, Chairman of Committees, Vice Mayor and a member of the Broward League of Cities. Together they were active volunteers and supporters of the Lauderdale Lakes Alzheimer Center, the disease to which Charlotte finally succumbed. She leaves behind a sister, Muriel Boughner of Las Vegas, three children and their spouses, Alan, Michael & Debbie Beck and Karen & Mathew Langweber , six beloved Grandchildren, six Great Grandchildren and four nieces and nephews, all of whom she was so proud of. Burial was August 26 in Queens, New York. A more gentle and caring soul there could never be. Donations can be made to the Lauderdale Lakes Alzheimer Center.

Berry, Harry  
Harry Berry Jr., 81, was peacefully called to heaven on August 22, 2015, at home in Sebastian Florida. Harry was born in Paducah KY on April 22, 1934. His family moved to Hollywood FL in 1942. He served 3 years in the Marines Corp, with duty on the aircraft carrier SS Saipan during the Korean War. Harry returned to Hollywood Fl and was an award winning General Contractor helping to develop Hollywood Hills. Harry loved the Lord, singing and playing the guitar. He was a licensed pilot and an avid golfer. He enjoyed all outdoors activities, living many years in Montana where he met his wife, Marion. He is survived by his loving wife, Marion Berry, his daughter, Darlene Panella of Hollywood Fl, and three grandchildren: Paul (PJ), Danielle and Christopher, all of Hollywood, FL. Burial will be at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth Fl. Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 1:45pm. A memorial service and celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harry's name to VNA Hospice 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Black, John Russell  
John Russell Black 88 of Dennis Port, MA, and Fort Lauderdale, FL died peacefully Friday, August 21, 2015. John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary, and his son Kevin John and his wife Diane John was a public school educator for over 30 years in the Pawtucket and Attleboro School Systems. A US Navy veteran, he enjoyed New England sports teams and was a faithful supporter for Providence College and the PC Friars. His funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 12:30 P.M. at Holy Trinity Church, 246 Route 28, West Harwich. There will be no calling hours. Bogue, William H.  
Captain William H. Bogue, Chicago Police Dept. (CPD), retired, age 69, died peacefully at home in Oakland Park, FL. Beloved son of the late William and Opal (nee Hurst) Bogue. Bill is survived by his husband Gene Majka, his aunts and his many cousins and godchildren. After retirement from the CPD Bill was an addictions counselor for Safe Place Counseling in Chicago and Fort Lauderdale. Brasso Jr., Anthony George  
Anthony George Brasso, Jr. "Tony," age 80, born December 24th, 1934 in Long Branch, NJ passed away at his home on August 20th, 2015. Son to Frances and Anthony Brasso Sr. and brother to Florence Colavito and Marie Di Maio. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Dina Brasso along with his 3 children, Cheryl Brasso Mc Leish, and twins Anthony Brasso III and Kimberly Brasso Farr. He was grandfather to David "DJ," Anthony IV, Adrienne, Shane and Macenzie, and great-grandfather to Anthony V and Jackson. Also, survived by his dogs Bebo and Snowy. Anthony served 4 years in the U.S. Navy. He had a great passion for sports, fishing, singing, family, and friends. Everyone who knew him adored him. He will be deeply missed by all. His memorial service will be held at the Brasso home, in Pembroke Pines, FL on September 6th, 2015 at 2:00. All who loved him are invited to attend.
