Curran, George Thomas  
George Curran passed 2/23/15 with loved ones at his side. George was born 1/4/29, in New York City. He fondly remembered his time in Mount Vernon, NY, where he grew up and worked with his father as proprietors of George's Luncheonette. At 14, he worked as an apprentice artist. After high school he studied Aeronautical Engineering at Iona College. upon his father's illness he returned to Mount Vernon to support his family. George was in the Air Force during the Korean conflict, stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport, LA, serving as a newspaper editor. Upon discharge he moved to South Florida and met and married Jane Scovitch, who passed away in 2000 after 42 years together. She was greatly missed by George and those who loved her. George and Jane raised four children: Mark (Cindy), Wesley (Beth), Mary Beth (Jim) Butcher, and Ann Marie (Joe) LeBlanc. George had 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, brother James, and his sister Beth Ann. His brother Stephen resides in Terrytown, LA. George married Barbara Gergich (2008), spending his days and nights with dancing and enjoying the blessings that God had to offer. George was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, neighbor, friend, Scoutmaster, member of the St. Vincent De Paul Society, and a community activist in Cooper City. George was a lifelong art student/teacher and taught numerous artists at Nina's Art Supply and took sculpture classes. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Scleroderma Foundation or Alzheimer's Association. A memorial mass will be celebrated at Saint Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Southwest Ranches on Monday, March 3, 2015 at 4 pm.

Curtis, Robert R.  
Robert "Bob" R. Curtis, longtime resident of Ft Laud, died on Feb 22, 2015 in Pittsburgh, PA. He was 84. Originally from Martinsville, IN, he moved to south FL where he met and married his wife. Robert retired from BP oil and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kristina and Grant Stegner of Pittsburgh, PA; his daughter, Kimberly Davies of Scotland; and his brother Michael Curtis of Ind, IN. He is preceded in death by his wife Madeline Curtis.

DelVecchio, Joan A.  
Joan A. DelVecchio, 74, formerly of New Haven, CT and a lifelong resident of Ft. Lauderdale, FL passed away on February 26, 2015. Joan was the daughter of the late John "Chin" DelVecchio and Catherine "Kaye" D'Andrea DelVecchio. Joan was a great lover of the Arts, especially live theater. She was an elementary school teacher in Broward County, FL for 35 years. A Celebration of her life will be held at St. Coleman Catholic Church, 1200 S. Federal Highway, Pompano Beach 33062 on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 10:00 am. She is survived by loving cousins in FL and CT. Eve Mazuryk DeSepio, 93, formerly of Coral Springs and Margate, FL, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, William DeSepio Sr.; and parents, Wasyl and Bessie Huzway Mazuryk. She is survived by her son, William (Enes) DeSepio, of Dunlap, TN; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

DETERESA, Joseph M.  
Joseph M. DeTeresa, 83, of Pompano Beach, FL passed away peacefully Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at Holy Cross Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. A native of Staten Island, New York, he was a son of the late Joseph and Lucy DeTeresa and the brother of the late Matthew DeTeresa and JoAnn Cocozza. He proudly served in the Unites States Navy and was a Korean War veteran. He retired as a lieutenant in the New York City Fire Department. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothea Brunner DeTeresa, his late wife, Ellie, their three children, Debbie Lanier and her husband John, of Penrose, NC, Walter DeTeresa and his wife, Vivianna, of Coral Springs, FL., Nancy Winburn and her husband, Marty of Ft. Myers, FL; 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation including a Catholic service will be held from 4-8 pm Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Kraeer Funeral Home in Pompano Beach. DRUM Jr., LAWRENCE THOMAS  
Tom Drum, born October 2, 1958, passed away on February 21, 2015. Tom was a fun loving and caring person. He was employed at AA Advance Air Inc. for the past 16 years. Tom loved to golf, snow ski and build model planes and ships. He is survived by his parents Sara & Lawrence T. Drum, Sr., sister Cynthia Reynolds, brother in law Peter Reynolds, niece Jessica Reynolds and nephew Ryan Reynolds. Eaverson, Alice Zinn  
Alice Zinn Eaverson passed peacefully to eternity after a short battle with old age on December 30, 2014. Born May 24, 1916, she was only 98. And she was pretty young up until a year or so ago. Nana and Dad, Robert Zinn (March 7, 1908 - May 23, 1969) were married in 1937. Son, John P. Zinn, was born in 1938 and they moved to Dayton, Ohio. Son, Bob, born in 1942, introduced Nana to Gordon Eaverson, whom she married in 1979. Alice was a loving and deeply caring person who took great care of the needs of family members and many others. Thank you, Nana, for all of kindnesses. You will be forever in our hearts. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, March 9th, at Saint Anthony Catholic Church, 901 NE 2nd Street in Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. In lieu, of flowers, and gifts, Alice's family request donations be made to, Saint Anthony Catholic Church, (954) 463-4614.
