Fried, Jeffrey L.  
Jeffrey L. Fried, age 99, of Winnetka, IL and Boca Raton, died Tuesday, December 23rd in Boca Raton; loving husband of Suzanne and the late Rosalyn. He is also survived by his children Daniel Fried and Margo Fried, grandson Eric Fried and Suzanne's three sons. He was preceded in death by his son Stephen, sister Adele Stamm and brother Herbert B. Fried. Mr. Fried was the founder and president of Walton March, now part of Bristol Myers. He was active in community affairs including president of the Council for the Jewish Elderly. Gaekle, Helen A.  
GAEKLE - Helen A. went home on November 24, 2014. Born 12/1/1931 in Tarrytown, NY, she lived in Ft. Laud, FL for over 56 years. Helen was a Korean war veteran and served with Women in the Air Force (WAF). She championed American Legion principles by being: an active charter member of Post 222 where she was the first female commander, 9th District Commander, 9th district Asst Sgt at Arms, JROTC Drill Team sponsor, longtime 9th District Chair for Boys State, standing Chair of the FL School Award Medal Program, and longtime member of 20 & 4 Honor Society. She provided many years of service and dedication to the community including the NE Rebels Athletic Program. Helen was preceded in death by husband Thomas Gaekle, parents Victor Quintanilla and Genevieve Comparetti, brother Victor Quintanilla Jr. and son Gregory Gaekle. She leaves behind children Genevieve Wilson (Ken), Gail Gagliardi (Lou), Grace Clawson (Jeffrey) and Glenn Gaekle, 8 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews and many who called her "Mom". A memorial service is planned at Calvary Chapel 2401 W Cypress Ck Rd, Ft. Laud., on 1/24/15 at 11:00AM. Following the service the family will receive guests at Post 222 4250 NE 5th Avenue, Oakland Park, FL. Interment will be at Sarasota National Cemetery 1/26/15 at 10:30AM. Gentile, Frank James  
Frank James. A long time resident of Ft Lauderdale and Pompano Beach passed away on 12/13/14 in Charlotte, NC at the age of 89. A WWII veteran, he practiced Physical Therapy before moving to Spain in 1970 and taking up writing. He returned to South Florida in the 1990's where he stayed active with numerous projects. He is survived by four children and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on 1/6/15 at the Emaculate Conception Church, 754 Gun Hill Rd Bronx, NY.

Getelman, Michael J.  
Michael J. Getelman, age 75, of Miami, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Michael was born on September 27, 1939 in New York. He moved to Miami to attend the University of Miami where he obtained both his Bachelor's and Law degrees. Upon graduation he began his career with the General Accounting Office in Washington DC but quickly realized he wanted to make Miami his home. He was a founding and lifetime member of the Dade County Bar Association as well as an active member of the Florida Bar. He practiced law in Miami for over 45 years. Michael was the son of Hy and Mollie Getelman. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda, and their 3 children, Mark (Karen), Marcie (David Reimer), and Debbie (Nick Masri), his 6 grandchildren (Nicole, Zachary, Noah, Jayme, Sydney, Zoe), and his sister Susan (Marshall) Steirn. Michael was bright, charismatic and loving and a talented and well-respected attorney. He was one of a kind and will be profoundly missed. Funeral Services will be Sunday December 21st at 3:15 pm at Star of David Memorial Gardens, 7801 Bailey Rd, N Lauderdale, Fl. 954-722-9000. For Shiva information call 954-684-8084. Glass, Edna M. Born Marblehead MA in 1920. Passed quietly Dec 16th Predeceased by husband Frank B. Glass and survived by their children Frosty Glass and his wife Anne Buddenhagen of Medway,MA and Manhattan, Chris Glass of Manchester,MA, Rick Glass of Raleigh-Durham, NC, Wendy and Gary Hopkins of Boca Raton FL, Terry and Chris Panagos of Boynton Beach, FL and May Glass of Taos, NM. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren as "Dear". Loved by family and many friends, she will be greatly missed. Services will be held at Star of the Sea Church, Marblehead, MA at 10 am on January 9th, 2015. Interment will immediately follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester, MA. Goldman, Pearl J.  
Pearl J. Goldman, age 98, of Fort Lauderdale, formerly of Rockville Centre, NY, passed away December 17, 2014. Pearl was predeceased by her loving husband of 70 plus years, Myron and is survived by her 2 sons who adored her, Joel (Jane) and Harvey (Ricky); 4 loving grandchildren, Liz (Jamie), Becky (Eric), Brad (Jeni) and Evan (Stephie); and 8 wonderful great grandchildren.
