In Loving Tribute Robert F. Campbell August 18, 1955 - August 11, 2013 Father, Son, Brother, Cousin, Uncle, Friend, Free-Thinking, Knowledge-Lover and Champion of all God's Creatures. Reader, Thinker, Philosopher, Cutthroat Scrabble Competitor, Swimmer, Biker and Frisbee Wizard, who made the Best Stuffed Mushrooms every Holiday. Cab Driver, Cook, Chef, Manager, Recruiter, and not a very good salesman because he was too honest. He was fiercely loyal, and a man of compassion and integrity and unpretentious character. Writer, Composer, Musician, Poet, and Talker Extraordinaire who revered the power and beauty of language, and read virtually everything. He loved intellectual sparring, was urbane, witty, sardonic, and yet humble. His pride was in his work, whatever it was, and most especially, his family. His father Daniel F. Campbell, Mother Theresa Campbell, his son Daniel H. Campbell, his ex-wife Linda Campbell, his sister Dianne Campbell Farbiarz, his nieces and nephews, Tessan, Brian, Amy, Jason, and Elan, little Aliyah, Ronan, and Ethan, and all those who held him close to their hearts, Pat, Pam and Marty, we are all forever diminished by his passing. Robert died suddenly and left us without a chance to say goodbye. Our hearts are broken, but there is peace in knowing that his is finally at Rest. Memorial Services at St. Gregory's Church, Plantation at 10:00 a.m, Wednesday August 21st.
