Beloved Pedro,

What can be said about a man who has set the bar on what person should be; loving, caring, understanding, compassionate, family oriented, fun, respectful, a true gentlemen, a great husband, father, mentor, great friend, giving and so much more that words can not describe. The short time we knew each other I learned what kind of person I want people to remember me for. My only hope is that i can be half the man you were, you have left big shoes to be filled. Thank you for showing me a side of people I long forgot and most of all thank you for being the man you are, irreplaceable and unforgettable! you will always be missed and love.

Thinking of you always

"Dad"

Reading all the messages form many people in many places.... you have indeed, left a "Legacy". You have touched so many hearts and given me a different outlook in life. You would help anyone in need and have shown me an unselfish heart.... you gave me your daughter in marriage. I am honored to be part of your legacy, and you taking me in to your family. I miss your laughter and the fishing lessons... never quite did learn. Perhaps you can finish the lessons when we meet again in Heaven... without the snow storm. We can both take lessons form the master fisherman, our good LORD and savior JESUS. Until we meet again "Dad"...

Your adopted son,

"Eddie"

To my dear father AKA The packageman,

In my eyes, you were the greatest father any son could ever have. In spirit, you still are the greatest father I could ever wish for. You were like a hero to me and I've always looked up to you. I would admire the courage you've always had since you were a young child. You have accomplished so many challenging feats throughout you're lifetime. These are the reasons why I see you as the perfect example of a successful, caring, loving father to me and a loving husband to mom. I am proud to have had such an amazing dad filled with kindness, love, and understanding in his heart. I also feel proud of the fact that I have the privelage of becoming your youngest only son. I hope to someday follow in your footsteps and be exactly like you dad. It would be a great honor to follow and lead your legacy of an example. I LOVE YOU so very much dad and I miss you dearly. I shall never forget the greatest memories we've shared together and all the wonderful times we've bonded as father & son. You are truly missed mr. packagemon! You will be in EVERY ONE of our hearts especially mine. I will always keep a very special place in my heart just for you DAD.

With tremendous amounts of love forever
Your youngest loving son,
Peter Bellido

Vanessa,

We go back so far, I can't even remember. I have so many good memories of your Dad. He was always so nice to me, so lovely and, kind; always smiling. There were many times he drove me home if we were at your house hanging out late at your house; he didn't mind at all. I learned Spanish from your parents. If I needed or wanted something, I had to ask in Spanish. You were not allowed to be my go between either. At first, I wasn't to happy about it but then I realized they were trying to TEACH ME. It was one of the biggest lessions I have ever learned in my LIFE!! Your Dad would go over words for objects in your house and also conjugations with me. I learned a great deal everytime I came to your house!! Your house was the best out of classroom, classroom I knew. I will really miss your Father as I know you will. I know and understand your pain. I'll always be there for you.
Always lovingly your friend,

Shere'

Uncle Pedro, just mentioning your name makes my heart smile.
There is not one moment in the times we shared together in which you appeared so quiet and shy, whispering some serious jokes that had us rolling with laughter and tears.
One of those memories is when we went to a peruvian restaurant in Philly and we were the only ones there. They took there sweet time serving our food, you had us laughing so hard that we didn't care how much we had to wait.
You brought so much joy into our lives.
And even when you were going through your own challenges, you brought comfort and joy to those around you.
You will always live in my heart, and I know that wherever you are you are making everyone laugh. Love,Peace and joy to you!

Dear Vanessa,

Your father was a remarkable man, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Certain words come to mind with thoughts of your father: Courage, for taking chances and moving to America to better his life. He was humble and a true gentleman. Even in small gestures like driving your mom to and from work, or opening doors for her, he showed chivalry. Your dad had a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful smile. During our conversations, he somehow always added a light hearted joke that would make everyone laugh. He was a provider. When we found out that our dads both worked for GM, I knew that your dad was a hard worker and wanted only the best for his family. Your father was a true family man. This was the greatest of all his wonderful qualities and the reason why I held your father with utmost respect. He was a devoted husband, loved and respected his wife, and together they raised three beautiful children. And even during a challenging time of becoming a teenage mom, Vanessa, he embraced Steven as his own and continued to show his unconditional love for his daughter. With the help of your mom and dad, you all raised your Steven to be the fine young man he is today. So, for all these outstanding attributes your father possessed, he was a true success story. And although his time on earth was cut too short for us, your father's legacy will never be forgotten and will live on for generations because of his love for family.

I love you very much!
Your friend,
Heather

Tio Pedro... some of my earliest childhood memories are of you and my Dad, playing Monopoly and taking me to Elizabeth Park. They are silent movies in my mind, but the images, and the feelings of childhood happiness will not fade, thanks to you and your loving family. When my own Dad was no longer here, you stepped in and provided support, guidance and shelter. You were a friend in minutes, you were true and selfless to those you opened your door to, and your capacity for patience and good humor knew no bounds. My own family got to experience your fountain of laughter and I know that much like myself, Zack and Noah will recall happy childhood moments... with you. Tio, we will miss your vibrant laughter and very enjoyable "naughty" side. I imagine the jokes are flowing and you're probably making everyone blush. But just like us, you will leave them waiting until the next time you grace them with your presence. We are... remembering and waiting. Un fuerte abrazo.
