Alan Lee Abram of Pompano Beach, Florida, passed away on January 15, 2014 at the age of 83. He was the loving husband for over 60 years to Dorothy Rae Abram (Busch), father of Judith L. Abram, Michael J. Abram and his wife Gaylynn, grandfather to Lauren Abram, Benjamin Abram and his wife Cheyenne, and great grandfather to Stephen Abram. Alan is the son of the late Harry and Yetta Abram, brother of the late Erwin Abram and his wife Betty Abram, and loving brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. Alan was born in St. Louis, Missouri, was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of Company A. Upon his retirement he was a dedicated volunteer for the Scleroderma Foundation and the Pulmonary Hypertension Association and in 2006 received the Presidential Points of light award for his service. Memorial contributions to either charity are appreciated. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 19, at 12:00 noon at the Star of David Memorial Gardens and Funeral Chapel, 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, Florida 33068.
