Albert Henry Bosman

Bosman, Albert (Budd) Henry was carried home in the arms of His Savior on May 25, 2011. He was born on August 12, 1938 in Kenosha, Wisconsin where he spent his childhood years. In 1948, his family moved to Wilton Manors, FL. Upon his graduation from Fort Lauderdale High School in 1957, he was off to Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI. After studying for two years at Calvin, he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard Reserve where he served for 6 years until he was honorably discharged. In 1960, he met the woman of his dreams, Karen Wietsma, whom he married on June 15, 1962. Together they raised three daughters and seven grandchildren. Budd was co-owner of Dixie Clamp & Scaffolding, a family owned Fort Lauderdale business. Budd was an avid supporter of Christ Community Church as well the Vacation Bible School program. Budd was also a former deacon and elder of Fort Lauderdale Christian Reformed Church. Budd is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karen Bosman; his three daughters, Kelli (Bosman) Beaudreau, Brenda Bosman, Heidi (Bosman) Lieberman; his seven grandchildren, Brandon, Brooke and Brett Beaudreau, Zachary, Adam, Noah and Connor Lieberman; his two son-in-laws, Mark Beaudreau and Ron Lieberman; his brother Howard L. Bosman and his wife Carmen both of Panama; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. A celebration of his life will be held in a service at Christ Community Church on Friday, June 3, at 6:30 p.m. located at 901 East McNab Road, Pompano Beach, FL (954-943-3866). In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to either Christ Community Church or Fort Lauderdale Christian School, 6330 NW 31st Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309.
