Pass-Campbell, Alice Lenora, died peacefully on November 15, 2012 at the home of her loving daughter, who was at her side. Lenora Campbell was born on October 18, 1922 in Buford, GA, daughter of Maggie and Harrison C. Pass. Lenora was a lifelong resident of Broward County, and in recent years, relocated to Sebastian, FL. She graduated from South Broward High School in 1943 and served as the Dania Tomato Queen in 1942. It was in Dania where she met the love of her life, U.S. Marine First Sergeant Ray Campbell. They were married for 52 years until his passing in 1995. Lenora was a 25 year employee of the Broward County School System. She is survived by her two sisters Gloria (Robert) McKimmey of Port St. Lucie, FL and Montie Otto of Margate, FL; daughter, Alice Rae (Douglas) Bell of Davie, FL; son, Alan Paul (Barbara) Campbell of Vero Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Clifton Bell, Robert Campbell and Tracy Harris; and one great-grandchild, Campbell Ann Harris. She was preceded in death by her brother, Welchel Henry Pass. Please join us on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 4061 N. Federal Hwy., Ft. Lauderdale for visitation and celebration of Lenora's life. Interment will be at Lauderdale Memorial Gardens, Fort Lauderdale.
