Bellin, Barbara Phyllis Greenleaf, residing at Valencia Falls, Delray Beach, FL and New London, CT passed away on August 3, 2009. Barbara attended the University of Connecticut and was a graduate of Connecticut College. Barbara was a certified teacher. She was co-owner at Montauk Pharmacy and Bellin's Pharmacy Inc. in New London. She was a lifetime member and President of the New London chapter of Hadassah Women Organization. Barbara was a lifetime member of Brandeis Woman. She chaired the women's division of the United Jewish Appeal and sat on the budget and allocation committee. Barbara was active in the Soviet resettlement program and helped a number of families learn English and acclimate to life in New London. She led a very active life enjoying golf, swimming, and tennis. She was a devoted wife, beloved mother, much loved grandmother. She is survived by her husband Samuel; her son Mark S. Bellin of Rumson, NJ; her daughters, Nancy J. Bellin, of Dedham, MA, and Lisa A. Punsalan of Niantic, CT; and her grandchildren: Sara, Melissa, Elizabeth Bellin, Evan and Emma Punsalan.
