Belchior DosSantos Obituary

DosSantos, Belchior (Bill), passed away on May 10, at age 90. He is the loving patriarch over three generations. Bill was born in Rhode Island and raised in Portugal. He served in WWII as a corporal. He met and married his sweetheart Mary and settled in Grant City in Staten Island, NY. He leaves behind four children, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Bill enjoyed playing soccer and gardening. He was a member of the Ft. Lauderdale Portuguese-American Club and the Italian American Club of Coconut Creek. Mr. DosSantos retired from the NYC Transit Authority. He, and his wife, moved to Margate, Florida and, recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. Service is at 11 a.m. on Wed., May 25th, Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and 2 p.m. a military honors service held at South Florida National Cemetery located at 6501 S. St. Rd. 7 in Lake Worth, FL.
