Bernice Greenberg, 96, of Delray Beach, FL passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 21, 2014. Bernice was born on January 12, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois. She was raised in San Antonio, Texas before moving to Dallas, Texas. She eventually moved to South Florida. She was a woman of many talents. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano with her grandchildren. She had a warm smile, a twinkle in her blue eyes, a sharp wit and a great sense of humor. Bernice was a gracious hostess who always welcomed everyone into her home with a warm hug and the smell of her incredible home cooking. Bernice was predeceased by her husbands Sam Greenberg, Morris Bock, Martin Rosenbaum, daughter Terri Levan Katz and son-in-law Stan Cohen. She is survived by her daughter Sandy Cohen, son Robert (Susie) Rosenbaum, grandchildren Marcy (Marc) Davidson, David (Lori) Hershorin, Jay Hershorin, Michael (Amy) Rosenbaum, Jeff (Emily) Rosenbaum, Don ( Judy) Levan, Shelley (Jeff) Margolis, Jarett (Dara) Levan and 22 great grandchildren. Bernice was loved by her family and will be missed by all who knew her.
