Benzion, Carol (nee Hoffert) of Delray Beach, Florida, previously of Glenview, Illinois, passed away peacefully with the love of her family on Sept. 27, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late William; loving mother of Robert (Donna) and Jeff (Anne) Lobelson; fond step-mother of Laurie (Dr. Ira) Davis; adoring grandmother of Grace, Faith, Rose Lobelson, Michael and Alan Davis. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Etta Hoffert and sister Arlene. She will be deeply missed by sister in law Audrey Bieder and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. As a Master Bridge player, Carol will never be forgotten by her fellow bridge partners. A special thanks to the many devoted people who cared for Carol, especially Shirley Josey and her family. A memorial service will be held at Weiss Memorial Chapel 202 E.
