Parker, Diane (Nee) Rabinowitz, 75 of Boca Raton, passed away November 18, 2013. Born in Philadelphia, and raised in Miami, Diane was the daughter of Marcia and David Rabinowitz. Diane graduated from Miami Senior High and attended Ohio State University. Following her father's footsteps, she worked for many years in the jewelry business at the family's Miami Diamond Center, as manager of Burdines Dadeland, as owner of The Perfect Present and later for Mayor's Jewelers in their executive office. Diane traveled the world with her husband of 16 years, Richard Parker, who preceded her in death. Their favorite destinations were Las Vegas and London , where they would often spend weeks at a time. In addition to her love for travel, Diane enjoyed Mah Jongg, and was an avid reader , shopper, and lover of all things animal print. She enjoyed the love and company of her family and many lifelong friends. She served as President of the Sunshine Cancer League/Miami Chapter and was later involved in the Pap Corps/Boca Pointe Chapter. Diane is survived by her children Andrew (Carolyn) Wasserstrom, Susie (Mike) Gordils, Patti (Kevin) Silva, Pam (Clay) Price, sisters Linda (Sheppard) Faber, Norma (Howard) Greenstein, and Alice (Dennis)Jackson. She will be greatly missed by grandchildren, Aaron, Michelle, Julie, Rachel, Carly and Roxy. The family thanks Regina Auletto, her dear caregiver, friend and companion over the last year and a half. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 20 at 11am.
