Edwin John Gleason passed away peacefully at home in Boynton Beach on February 28, 2013. He had also resided in Palm Beach, Delray Beach, and Key West. Born on April 23, 1951 in New Rochelle, NY, Mr. Gleason held a BA in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and did his graduate work at Harvard University. He was a volunteer in the election campaign of Robert Kennedy and began his working life as a staffer with Senator Edward M. Kennedy. He worked for many years as a mental health counselor in Palm Beach County. Mr. Gleason was the son of the late Elizabeth Russell Gleason and the late Edwin Gleason, Sr. both of Boynton Beach, FL and Rye, NY. Mr. Gleason is survived by his Aunt and Uncle, Joanne and Harold Curry of Phillipsburg, NJ, loving cousins, and many friends. He is fondly remembered for his charm, intelligence, ready wit, and dry humor. The funeral will be Saturday, March 9 in Rye, NY at the Graham Funeral Home, burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook NY.
