Blyler, Elinora B. (Babs), 88, of Lighthouse Point, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Daniel Blyler, Sr, and her son, Paul Daniel Blyler, Jr. She is survived by daughters: Brenda B. Schell (Rick) of Lighthouse Point, Karen Blyler Spranger (Mike) of Gainesville, and Gretchen A. Corey of Oakland Park. Survivors also include grandchildren Nicky Horton (Kris) of Raleigh, NC, Holly Schell of Charlotte, NC, Ryan Schell of Lighthouse Point, FL, Jessica Blyler (Ritchie) of Atlanta, five great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Marjorie L. Anderson of Palm Beach Gardens. She was born May 19, 1924 in Decatur, GA. She graduated from Decatur High School in 1941 then worked as a secretary for the Navy where she met Paul, a naval officer. They were married for 55 years until he passed away in 2000. Babs was a very gracious and loving person and a great mother and grandmother. For many years she was an active member of the Lighthouse Point Garden Club and Women s Club and, with her husband, in the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club, LPYC Corinthians, Elks Club and Shrine Club. Babs traveled the world extensively and enjoyed cruising with her daughters. She was an angel on earth. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 12 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church in Boca Raton, FL.
