Eugene Henderson Obituary

Henderson, Eugene M "Ned" of Tamarac passed away at home Friday May 27, 2011 at the age of 84. He was born in Fergus Falls, MN on October 8, 1926 and moved to Ft. Lauderdale from the Minneapolis area in 1980. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Elizabeth, his son Steven R. Henderson, daughter Sandra Relyea and sister Mrs. Glenn (Carol) Anderson, 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Ned proudly served in the US Navy during World War II in the South Pacific aboard the aircraft carrier USS Essex CV-9. He was a long time member of the Moose Lodge #2267, the VFW and the American Legion. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday June 18, 2011 at the Moose Lodge 6191 Rock Island Road Tamarac, FL 33319.

Grandma,

We salute Grandpa for this past Memorial Week, as he was a veteran who proudly served his country. We send our love and condolences with gratitude for Grandpa's service.
