George Carson, a 40-year resident of Plantation, Florida, peacefully decided on the day before his 87th birthday, November 2, to drive his golf cart around and help all the folks in heaven fix things. He put on his favorite colorful, funny t-shirt and said, "Thanks again for everything" to his beloved wife, Dorie; daughters, Kathleen Antona (and Gianni) and Linda (and the herd at The 7MSN ranch in New Mexico); dearest friends, Pat and Jim; best buddy, Don; and all his neighbors, friends, and co-workers in the Jacaranda communities near Central Park. George wants everyone, especially his auto mechanic vocational students at Plantation High and Brooklyn (Ohio) High, to remember him and live as he did -- using the right tools and doing every job with integrity. George never wanted people to fuss over things. He never asked for anything, but gave everything. Private services will be held to share happy memories of his life.
