Abramson Abramson , Jesse age 90, of Tamarac, passed away on April 13, 2012. He was born in New York City and grew up in the Bronx, the youngest child of William and Anna Abramson. He was predecesaed by his loving wife of 54 years, Eleanor, who died in June 2002. Jesse is survived by his son Warren, daughter Betty, daughter-in-law Patricia, son-in-law Chuck, grandchildren Leslie, Kevin and Emerald; six loving, adorable great-grandchildren and many dear and special friends. Jesse and Eleanor raised their family in Queens, N.Y. and New Jersey before moving to Florida in 1989. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II and was a lifelong union man with the I.L.G.W.U., Local 10. In Florida, Jesse was an active member of the community volunteering for many different organizations including various hospitals and the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. He was an active member of the Broward County post of the Jewish War Vererans, always very proud of his service for his country. Jesse was an incredibly giving person, always ready with a joke, always optimistic and always helping others. He will be eternally missed by all. To honor Jesse, the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital.
