Morris Berman passed away peacefully in his sleep at 92 years of age leaving a legacy that makes the world a better place. Born in 1921 in Newport RI, he met the love of his life, Shirley Rubin, and they were married for 60 wonderful years, living in Newport, RI., Waterford, Conn., and Pembroke Pines, Fla. Morris was a decorated veteran of World War 2, who had flown 17 missions in the European theatre. Upon returning home, he became a renowned furniture salesman. His other life's passions included playing clarinet, tennis, golf, bridge, and fishing. He had an infectious sense of humour. Morris is survived by 3 loving daughters: Sheila Greeley (Jim), Janna Spark (Iko), and Roberta Berman; three grandchildren, Ryan Meredith Greeley, Brandon Greeley, Jay Quinn, and a great grandson, Caleb Greeley, his adoring sister, Bea Bazarsky, and many nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to either: Memorial Manor or Hospice By The Sea. The memorial service is being held on Wed., November 6, 2013 at 2 pm at Village Reform Congregation in Century Village, 13400 SW 10th St., Pembroke Pines, FL.
