Normand P Guilbault, 71, of Boca Raton, Florida died October 31,2013, at Hospice by the Sea, Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Pauline (Tremblay)Guilbault, and sister, Evelyn Lowery.Survived by lifetime partner, Ralph Miller, brother, Raymond Guilbault, sisters, Charlotte Nicholson and Dianne Graul, aunt and uncle,Girard and Doris Tremblay of Cranston, RI, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.Normand received a degree in Microbiology from the University of London, England, as well as an MBA from Florida Atlantic University. He proudly served in the US Air Force.Normand was employed at the Boca Raton Regional Hospital for 32 years. Starting as Laboratory Director and then onto Director of Human Resources. In furthering his career at the hospital, he became Director of Risk Management/Corporate Compliance and Vice President. Normand was a dedicated employee and well-known throughout the hospital, He had a unique sense of humor that those around him enjoyed. Normand, loved gardening, orchids, nature, traveling and buying kids toys and clothes for the Caridad Center. Normand was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor and a heart of gold.A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, November 16, 11:00 am at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church,370 SW 3rd St, Boca Raton.Burial at a later date will be at the South Florida VA National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Normand's name to the Caridad Center, 8645 West Boynton Beach Blvd, Boynton Beach, Fl 33472.
