Roberto Jones Obituary

Jones Jones, Roberto The Reverend Roberto Jones, 75, of Margate went to be with the Lord on May 31st 2011 after a long bout against cancer. He was born on November 13, 1935 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 3rd at 7:00 PM at Cristo la Unica Esperanza, 950 NW 66th Ave, Margate, the church he founded in 1992. The burial and a service will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pompano Beach, at 2:00 PM on Saturday June 4th. Roberto is survived by his wife, Elsa, eldest daughter Edith Mastrianni and her husband David Mastrianni of St. Lucie County, grandson Robert J. Tate, Jr., son Daniel H. Jones and his wife Gwen Jones and their children Derek, Ryan and Heather, of Texas, his daughter Maria Selin and husband Joe Selin, granddaughter Gabriela Ramirez of Broward County, and by son Steven Jones. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Genara Llop. The family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
