Dear friend, I always remember you and continue to miss you. You were so special to me as my coworker!! I still have your scary handsome Halloween scary monster and every time I see it I laugh at memories of you coming around my desk trying to scare me wit it’s creepy laughter. Oftentimes in the ifhive I feel your presence as if an angel is looking over my shoulder. Sometime new workers have told me that they have had a feeling that someone is in the department when they are alone without knowing your story and I e shared and told them it’s likely you but not to be scared since you are here working with us and very friendly! I miss you my friend and your beautiful smile. May Kevin and you continue to forever Rest In Peace.

My deepest and sincere condolences to Stephen's family.
I will always remember Stephen for his warm heart, soft voice, smiling kind eyes, true professionalism and a great Nurse!! As a co-worker of Stephen at Jackson, I just want to share with the family that they were loved dearly by Stephen and that his eyes lit up every time he would talk about them. His dedication to Kevin was remarkable and a sign of true love. May the Lord keep them together always!!

To Stephens Family: So sorry this has happened. I live in the MapleRidge community where Stephen and Kevin lived for 9 years before moving to Wilton Manors. Wonderful neighbors and friends. Steve and I were colleagues at Jackson Memorial Hospital...both in new roles as Educators...I could always look to Steve for a friendly smile and acknowledgement. When I left Jackson this year, Steve sent me a warm farewell. I am saddened to hear of his tragic and untimely departure from our world. I hope Steve and Kevin's families take comfort in knowing they will rest in peace and God's unconditional love.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.

because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
