Viola DeAngelo

DeAngelo, Viola, age 99 of Delray Beach, FL formally of Elmwood Park, NJ passed away on Saturday May 14, 2011. On March 3, 2009 she celebrated her 54 year anniversary as an honorable member of the Secular Franciscan Order from the Archdiocese of Miami, Florida. She was a member of Orchid Society of Delray Beach for 25 years and a parishioner of Ascension Catholic Church in Boca Raton, Florida. She is survived by her daughter, Gloria DiLeone and son in law Anthony DiLeone of Toms River, NJ; five sons, George DeAngelo of Wayne, NJ, Richard DeAngelo of Clifton, NJ, Philip DeAngelo of Kinnelon, NJ, and Leonard DeAngelo of Delray Beach, FL. Viola has 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband George DeAngelo in 1987 and her son Fred DeAngelo in 2008. Visitation will be held at Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Ave. (Federal Hwy. Northbound) Delray Beach on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 19, 2011, 10:30AM at Ascension Catholic Church, 7250 N. Federal Hwy. in Boca Raton, FL. Burial services will be held at Cresthaven Cemetery in Clifton, New Jersey.
