Katz, William (Billy), 80, Born Feb. 17, 1931 in the Bronx, New York. He lived for most of his life in the Philadelphia area. He is survived by his wife of thirty one years, Tina Katz, a sister, Helene Seyler, and a son, Joshua Katz. Bill was a sales representative for women and junior clothing companies for fifty plus years of his life. He retired about five years ago. He was president of the Mid-Atlantic Fashion exhibitors for two terms, where he would run a clothing drive for the homeless people in the Philadelphia area. Bill helped start the Liberty Bell Chapter of the First Marine Division in the Philadelphia area, where he served as vice president. Bill was a lifetime member of seven military organizations. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Until his death, he was the Senior Vice Commander of the Jewish War Veterans-Post 819. Bill had many friends all over the country. He believed in helping others. We will remember him for his kind deeds and his warm and witty personality. Funeral Services Tuesday 9:30 a.m. at Sinai memorial Chapels, 15200 Jog Rd., Delray Beach, Fl. 561-865-1747, with Interment at VA cemetery.
