Anderson, Phyllis, "Penny", 65, of Lighthouse Point, FL, loving wife of Dr. Ronald Anderson, passed away at her home on April 13, 2010, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Long Island, New York in 1944, Penny moved to Florida at thirteen and attended Norland High School. Penny raised three children, Jim Grimm, Steve Grimm and Jeanne Bochinfusso, in Pembroke Pines. She then moved to Lighthouse Point and raised her second daughter, Christen Anderson. After a thirty year career with the Broward County School Board, Penny retired and spent her time traveling throughout the U.S., Caribbean, Hawaii and Europe. Penny leaves behind her husband, three children, six grandchildren, her sister and brother. Her son, Jim, will greet her at Heaven's door. Visitation will be Friday, April 16, 2010, 2 to 4 p.m., with a service at 3:30 p.m., at Kraeer Funeral Home.
