Keller, Irma Jean Bennett, 91, of Plantation, passed away February 17, 2014. She is the daughter of E.R. & Irma Bennett, was a graduate of Fort Lauderdale High 1940 & University of Maryland 1944. Jean has lived in Fort Lauderdale since 1923. She was a member of Pioneer Woman & and an active member of P.E.O.for 70 years. Jean was renowned for her ability "to fix and recycle" almost anything and her avid love of gardening. Jean dedicated her life to the natural beautification of her gardens. She was a proud and loving mother that encouraged everyone to do their best, touching and inspiring the lives of many. Jean will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Jean is survived by her husband, George Keller; 2 children, son James Jay Ring, and daughter, Jill Ring Law; & 3 stepchildren Susan Berger, Skip Keller, and Nancy Schwanke. She had 2 other children that preceded her death, John B. Ring & Jerry M. Ring. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. A private graveside service was held for family only.
