Rosalyn (Freshman) Wiener, 84, of Boca Raton, FL passed away on April 2, 2014. Born in Parsons, KS in 1929, she previously lived in Tenafly and Hackensack, NJ before moving to Boca Raton. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years, Sidney in 2013 and her son Jeffrey Brous in 1976. She is survivied by her daughters Terry Brous,Sherry (Douglas) Oliver,Nancy (Andrew) Oliver, and Sidney's children, Bruce (Lorraine) Wiener, and Sue-Ellyn (Dr. Andrew) Behl. She is also survivied by her grandchildren, Josh and Harley Saftler,Aaron and Matthew Behl, Michele, Nicholas and Amy Wiener, and Danielle Oliver, as well as her sisters Anna-Lee (Arnold) Samuels and Myra Sue Freshman. In addition to her family she leaves behind her closest friends from Boca West, whom she loved dearly. Rosalyn was proud of both her pioneer and Jewish roots. She and her husband Sidney were great collectors of Western Art which they generously donated to the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday 11am in Beth El Cemetery Washington Township, NJ. Donations may be made in her memory to Jewish Family Services, 1 Pike Drive Wayne, NJ 07470.
