Jerome C. "Jerry" Bange, 52, of Prince, West Virginia, formerly of Davie, Florida passed away on July 15, 2014 at McGuire VA Hospital in Richmond, Virginia following a brief and courageous battle with esophageal cancer.Born in Miami, Florida on February 18, 1962, son of James J. and Diane D. (Roberts) Bange. Raised in Miami, Jerry graduated from North Miami High School, class of 1980. Following high school, Jerry enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.For many years, he worked in the family business at Paul Bange Roofing before retiring and moving to West Virginia in 2007. Since moving to West Virginia Jerry has spent his time gardening, hunting, fishing but, most of his passion went into coaching football and baseball. Survived by his beloved wife, Lisa (Vasko) Bange, five sons, James, Adam, Jeramy Travis and Thomas, his mother, Diane (Roberts) Gotshall and her husband Lamont Gotshall, brother, Paul (Nanci) Bange and sister, Charlene (Kerry) Johnson. brother Richard Gotshall. Also survived by his mother in law, Loretta Vasko, His grandsons, Wyatt, Colton, & Jayden. Nieces and Nephews, Brenda, David, Jennifer, Heather, Michael and Chase. His Aunt Marilyn (Floyd) Bailey. Several Cousins and many extended family and friends. Visitation on Sunday, July 20th from 1:00 ~ 4:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood. Funeral service at the funeral home beginning at 4:00 P.M. with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
