Avery Avery, Alfred (Al) J. , Jr., age 60, died December 7, 2011. Al was born at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah. His family moved to Delray Beach, Florida in 1953 where he lived for 50 years before moving to Greenville, Florida in 2003. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and also loved to water ski and scuba dive in his younger years. He was a farmer by trade; through the years he grew everything from cut flowers and landscape plants to peanut and coastal hay. Al is predeceased by his father, Alfred J. Avery, Sr. (June 2004) and his younger brother Gary Avery (July 2011). He is survived by his wife Karen Avery, mother Diane Avery, son Alfred (A.J.) J. Avery III, daughter Jennifer Whigham (Kevin), grandson Kody Whigham, brother Daniel Avery (Robbin), sister-in-law Lois (Lucy) Avery, and many other loving family members and friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the in Al's memory. A celebration of life will be held on December 17, 2011 in Ft. Pierce, FL. For information call 561-445-0381.
