Rudnick Rudnick, Joseph Loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother passed on of natural causes on January 5, 2012 at the Delray Community Hospital. After serving in the Army Air Corps during World War II, he raised his family in Boston, MA and co-founded the family business, Ashmont Discount stores which he continued after the passing of his son James and wife Beatrice. He retired in South Florida in the 1970s where he remained active with his family, friends, and became known for his enjoyment of South Florida restaurants, cars and homes. He was a supporter of many charitable causes, most notably the The Papanicolaou Corps for Cancer Research at the University of Miami. He is survived by his wife Marise, brother Lenny, children Vicki, Howard, Gerry and Pauline as well as 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. Services will take place at 2p.m. on Friday 6 January 2012 at Temple Beth El in Boca Raton. Shiva will be sat at his home in the Polo Club of Boca Raton.
