Myron I. Alpert

Alpert, Myron I., of Highland Beach, FL, passed peacefully on September 10th at the age of 87. He was born on May 21, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan to Benjamin and Ida Alpert. After serving in the U.S. Army during World War II, Myron became a graduate and avid supporter of the University of Michigan-GO BLUE! He continued his education and received his law degree at the University of Detroit then joined his father's law practice, Alpert & Alpert. Myron and his wife, Doris, retired to Florida 27 years ago enjoying their beach residence. Everyone who knew Myron/Papa has a story to tell of this joyous "one of a kind" man. The world will be a sadder place without him but his legacy will live on with our fond memories and humorous stories. Myron is survived by his devoted wife, Doris; loving father to Michael (Lynn), Jay (Kathy), Cheryl (John) and predeceased by Steven; cherished grandfather of Lauren (Brian), Sarah, Brian, Garrett, Caroline and Keeley. He is also survived by his sister Elaine Stern and niece Deborah Stern. Special thanks to Dr. Lehmann, Iris Leincres and Jean Gebara for their wonderful care. Services will be held on September 14th at 12 noon at the The Gardens Memorial Park, 4103 N. Military Trail, Boca Raton, FL, 33431.
