Kaufman, Stan K., of Plantation, passed away on September 25, 2012, in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Annetta. His son Keith predeceased him. Stan is survived by his children, Anthony Kaufman, Pam (Allen) Heringhaus, Susie (Tom) Paul, Michael (Donna) Farnhan, Cathy Moyal, Larry Leathers; grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was born in New Cleveland, Ohio, lived in Bowling Green, Ohio, and started coming down to the Fort Lauderdale area over 45 years ago. He was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Country Club for over 30 years. Stan was an avid golfer, and card player; he enjoyed the camaraderie and the competitiveness of the game. He was in the restaurant and bar business in Bowling Green, Ohio. He also owned the Texan Steakhouse in Fort Lauderdale. Stan enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. There will be a gathering of friends and family to celebrate his life at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club on Monday, October 1, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the or to Hospice.
